Spanish River is the number one comprehensive high school in Palm Beach County, and the Foundation’s focus is to maintain this standard.  SRF funds grade-wide, department-wide, and school-wide initiatives that will have a broad, lasting effect on students, faculty members, and administrators.

Grants Award Program

Grants provided by the Foundation go through a Funding Request Process that has been established by SRF’s Board of Directors. The goal of the process is to identify opportunities and assess both their need and impact. All proposed initiatives must align with Palm Beach County School District’s goals and strategic plans in order to be considered.

How are grant proposals submitted to the Foundation?

Spanish River High School faculty members and administrators must submit an online application to be considered for funding. The Funding Request Process for the 2018-2019 school year will begin in August, and an application will be posted at that time.

When are grants awarded?

Grants are awarded once a year, before the Winter Break, based on the board’s recommendation, alignment to the Foundation’s mission, and availability of funds.
